The GLBT National Help Center directly operates two local hotlines, one in New York City and the other in San Francisco. Both hotlines provide telephone peer-counseling, as well as information and local resources. Our New York City hotline, the Gay & Lesbian Switchboard of New York is the oldest operating GLBT hotline in the world, having celebrated over 33 years of active service to our community. The phone number for this local hotline is 212-989-0999 and our hours are Monday thru Friday from 4pm to 8pm, and Saturday from noon to 5pm, Eastern time. Our San Francisco hotline, the GLBT Hotline of San Francisco can be reached at 415-355-0999 and our hours are Monday thru Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Pacific time.
